SUNY Press Selects IBT as New Book Manufacturing Partner
Director says decision "forward-looking and sensible"
Albany, New York, USA, October 31, 2003 - State University of New York Press
(SUNY Press) has announced it has chosen Integrated Book Technology, Inc. (IBT or IBT Global) as its
primary book manufacturing vendor. Following a rigorous competitive bidding process, SUNY Press
determined that IBT could best meet its needs.
Priscilla Ross, SUNY Press's Director, said, "IBT's pricing and quality are excellent. Their recent
production expansion improves our scheduling and their commitment to technology fits very well with
SUNY's mission to capitalize on the latest advances in printing and publishing. It is a very
forward-looking and sensible business decision."
IBT's President, John R. Paeglow III, said, "We are thrilled. SUNY Press adds another prestigious
publisher to our client list. They are a great group of professionals who we are proud to work
with."
Paeglow acknowledged that recent installations of a state-of-the-art Kolbus binding system along
with a Delphax high-speed web press were instrumental in capturing the SUNY Press work. SUNY Press
is expected to utilize IBT for casebound and paperback books in quantities up to 2,500 units.
