A laser Copy of printed text material is required, submitted to IBT, to compare with our printed output.     Hard copy provided with the job may have crop lines, trim marks, etc., helping IBT to confirm positioning. The output file should include blank pages, left completely blank.  Crop lines, trim marks, etc. should not be included.

 

Margins and text alignment should be exact to the desired print output; however, specific margins should be supplied at the time the order is placed with IBT Customer Service. A list of files on the disk and the format would also be appreciated.

 

Registration: Ensure registration option is off

Blank Pages: Yes - Include all blank pages

Print Colors: Black & White, Halftoning: Printer

File Type: Binary File

Font inclusion: Yes - (download all fonts)

Postscript Conversion: Level 2 compatible

Print Dialog Box; Setup Tab / Page Positioning is on Center.

Print Dialog Bleed Tab; Top: 0.125, Bottom: 0.125, Inside: 0, Outside: 0.125. Page size in Quark Xpress is set to final trim size.

Page size in the Print Dialog Box may be set to 8.5 x 11 to incorporate bleeds.

 

One PDF file should be created for each title.

 

Quark Xpress Files

If you are sending Quark Xpress files to be printed, please include:

Fonts contained in a folder named Fonts

All graphic files used in the Quark layout, contained in a folder named Graphics Be sure to send along the Quark Xpress Document.

We can accept up to Quark Xpress 6.0,  Mac OS X

We can accept up to Quark Xpress 5.0,  PC

3.5 Floppy disk (PC or Mac format)

Iomega Zip disk 100 or 250 MB (PC or Mac format), Imation SuperDisk (Mac format) Compact Flash Card, Memory Stick, MMC, SD Card, Smart Media, IBM Microdrive CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-R or DVD-RAM

Compression Types: Should be avoided, but if necessary:
