Text Box: IBT Global Sets New Standards in Digital Book Manufacturing Work Orders and Equipment Upgrades Combine to Lead Industry      Troy, New York, USA  May 3, 2004 - The United States’ leading digital book manufacturer, IBT Global (IBT), based in Troy, New York, set new incoming work and production records in March and April 2004 at its Troy facility.   During this period, IBT received orders for over 100 million content pages, printed 105 million pages of text, and bound and shipped a quarter of a million books.  By all indications, these figures represent the highest two-month totals ever achieved by any digital book manufacturer.   “Our continuing focus on helping the publishing industry manage their inventory by having books printed in smaller quantities as needed, rather than warehousing product, has become a very timely theme as publishers struggle to cut costs, minimize book returns and reduce risk.  Orders are flowing in as a result.” said IBT’s president and founder, John R. Paeglow III.  “And our large investments in 2003 in high-speed, high-tech, high-quality printing and binding equipment give us the opportunity to capitalize on the opportunities these orders present.”  Paeglow also credited “a hard working and innovative management, production, sales and customer service team that is the real foundation of IBT’s growth and success.”    IBT forecasts a thirty to forty percent increase in revenue for 2004 over last year.  They expect to hire up to twenty new staff members this year and plan on expanding operating shifts in response to the increased work.   IBT Global, also known as Integrated Book Technology, manufactures books in the United States and Europe for the world’s leading scientific, technical, medical, professional and scholarly publishers.
